Objectives of the Conference:
- To provide a platform for young researchers, academicians, scholars, corporate to present their research for the benefit of the community.
- To initiate and provoke thoughts and ideas on the varied fields covered under the conference theme for innovation of new ideas and concepts.
- To collaborate with other institutions to jointly propagate a research based environment for continual innovation and creativity.
- To sensitize the society in general about the need for research and its importance.
Brief Summary of the Conference:
Since the conference was done overseas i.e. in Bali, Indonesia, limited numbers of participants were present. 10 participants from Udayana University were also present for the conference as the college and Udayana University are potentially discussing a MOU. The conference began with Ganesh Vandana and lamp lighting to honour Shri Lala Lajpatraiji and welcome addresses by the conference convener Dr. Rajesh Mankani & conference Chairperson Dr. Neelam Arora. The Guest of Honor was Mr. Ashit Parikh. The keynote address was delivered by Mr. Robert Alvares from RMIT University, Australia through video-conferencing. The technical session saw 12 paper presentations covering different aspects of the conference theme. The post-lunch session saw the technical address by Mr. Brendan Lewis from Australia and the valedictory address was delivered by Mr. Nitin Pradhan from Switzerland – both via video conferencing. The conference ended with distribution of certificates and release of the conference journal containing the proceedings of the conference.
Outcome of the Conference:
- The conference participants got to hear and see different presentations covering a diverse range of topics.
- The conference participants were also able to hear and see the various experts who presented the keynote address, technical address and valedictory address. All these speakers were experts in their different fields and were able to contribute to the knowledge of the participants.
- The conference also saw an interaction between the college delegates and the delegates from Udayana University which was also one of the targets of the conference.
- The overall outcome of the conference i.e. to promulgate knowledge and research orientation was thoroughly achieved.
