Objectives of the program :
- To create awareness in the minds of the students about the history & importance of celebrating Constitution day in India.
- To create an appreciation in the minds of the students for the role played by Babasaheb Ambedkar and others in drafting the Indian Constitution.
Brief report of the activity
The BFM Department, with a view to creating awareness and respect among the student fraternity, decided to conduct an awareness seminar on the occasion of the 73rd Constitution Day of India. The
session was conducted by Dr. Rajesh Mankani who is a qualified lawyer and an expert in Constitutional Law and he was able to deliver knowledge about the Indian Constitution and its importance to the students in a precise and interesting manner. At the end of the session, a small quiz competition was conducted and prizes and certificates were awarded to the winners.
The session saw healthy participation from around 64 students of which 28 were female participants and 36 were male participants.
Outcome of the program
- The session proved highly informative and the students gained knowledge about many aspects in context with the Indian constitution which they so far were unaware of.
- The quiz contests at the end of the session further reinforced the learning of the students and drive home the facts learnt during the.
