To commemorate the Birth Anniversary (28th January) of Lala Lajpatrai- The Lion of Punjab after whom our college is named, the 49th Lala Lajpatrai Memorial Lecture was organized on 28th of January, 2022. The Speaker on the occasion was Dr. Shrirang Karve, a Senior Director of Sanofi - Boston (Massachusetts). He delivered the lecture on the topic of Advances in mRNA Technology. It was an online lecture delivered from, Boston, USA over Zoom.

Around 177 Faculty members and students participated on the virtual platform. It was an enlightening and lively session where the Speaker highlighted on the contribution of modern science especially modern medicine in controlling the Covid-19 pandemic.
