Seatown Fest 2022–23 - 5th, 6th & 7th January 2023
Introduction:
Sea-town; An annual Inter-colligate Cultural fest, organized by the Student Council and Cultural Committee was held on the 5th,6th and 7th of January 2023. An impressive number of 38 colleges participated in this ever-awaited intercollegiate fest of Sea town.
On the 5th of January, the first day of this event comprised of exquisite Fine arts competitions like Poster Making, Draw A Story, T-shirt Painting, Mehndi and Pen Sketch were organized. Apart from these, various eloquent Literary Arts competitions such as Shayari, Just A Minute, Spell Bee and Essay Writing took place on the same day.
6th of January being the second the day, several energetic and athletic Informal events like box Cricket, Extreme Eaters, Tug of Wars, and Treasure Hunt were organised. Auditions for Solo Dance, Duet Singing, and Solo Singing were taken on the same day.
The final day that is 7th of January, the events from Performing Arts flaunted through competitions such as Solo Singing, Solo Dance, Duet Dance, Group Dance, Fashion Show and Mr and Ms Sea-town.
Objectives:
- To create and provide opportunities for the students to showcase their talents at intercollegiate level.
- To interact with various colleges at intercollegiate level fostering a healthy cultural exchange amongst student community across the colleges of Maharashtra.
- To create a competitive environment & approach amongst colleges.
Outcomes:
- Creating and facilitating opportunities for students to showcase their talents at inter-collegiate level.
- Promoting inclusive growth among the student community.
- Exploring hidden talents and eliminating stage fear amongst introverts.
