E-Mela: Aamchi Mumbai - 17th January 2018



Entrepreneurship Mela has always been a flagship event of Lala Lajpatrai College of Commerce & Economics under the wing of Add-on-Vocational Courses, which is celebrated with a lot of fanfare and exuberance with over 31 stalls displaying Mumbai’s diverse culture.

Delicacies and non-food products under the theme ‘Aamchi Mumbai’ organized by the Department of Add-on Vocational Courses & The Rotaract Club of Lala Lajpatrai College. Stalls were put up by students of various courses of diverse colleges and start-ups.

A footfall of 500-plus visitors was witnessed by the stalls. Colleges like Ratnam College, Siddharth College, and Sant Gadge Maharaj College minted enormous profits in the Mela.

Mrs. Shital Dhanak (Asso. General Secretary of Fellowship of Physically Handicapped, Haji Ali, Mumbai) with her team inaugurated and set the Mela open.

With an initiation to work towards community service; FPH was the philanthropy partner for this event. Disabled and visually impaired students exhibited their creative art through these stalls portraying the aura of ‘Self-Employment’ through the medium of the Mela.

The event was a phenomenal success which broadcasted the zeal of enthusiasm and motivation to budding entrepreneurs in this field of entrepreneurship which ultimately converted their passion into profession.
