E mela: #redefineyouridentity - 30th January 2019

Entrepreneurship Mela was organized on 30th January 2019 that saw the campus of Lala Lajpatrai College flooded with stalls of diverse delicacies and non-food products organized by the Dept, of Add on Vocational Courses & The Rotaract Club jointly with Entrepreneurship Development Cell of Lala Lajpatrai College. More than 25 Stalls were put up by students of various courses of diverse colleges and Start-ups.

This year the theme of E-Mela #redefineyouridentity focused on Social Entrepreneurship.

A footfall of 500-plus visitors was witnessed by the stalls. Colleges like Ruia College, Ruparel College, SGM College, and much more actively participated in the E-Mela.

Ms. Renuka Mehra, our senior and former teacher inaugurated and set the Mela open.

With a vigor to work towards community service, Fellowship of Physically Handicapped, Little Angels School, Shraddha Charitable Trust, Om Creations, Creative Handicrafts, A.K Munshi Yojna were the NGOs who took the initiative and participated in it by exhibiting their stalls as well as they were the philanthropy partners for this event.

This year more than 100 students participated in this mela. The event was a phenomenal success which broadcasted the zeal of enthusiasm and motivation to budding entrepreneurs in this field of entrepreneurship which ultimately converted their Passion into a Profession.
