Objectives of the program:

  1. To provide a platform to the students of the department to showcase their talent and skills
  2. To enable the students to cultivate and develop their leadership and organizational skills
  3. To provide a platform to the students to express themselves and bring out their talent and organizational skills in conducting the event

Brief report of the workshop

The BFM Department its annual students Fest “IGNITE 2019” keeping up the tradition of the annual event.

The fest is organized to provide a platform for the students to develop and exhibit their leadership & creative skills and features a number of different academic, cultural & socially oriented activities and competitions.

The fest was organized over two days and featured various competitions, notable among them were Treasure Hunt, Street Dance, Mic Drop & the final event was the Cultural Day in which song, dance & drama were the mainstays.

The students participated in large numbers and a number of outside colleges also sent their contingents.

Outcome of the program

  1. The participants of the program gained loads of experience as to conducting programs on such a scale
  2. The students learnt first-hand the nitty-gritties of putting together events on such a scale and how much effort goes into the same

The event proved to be a practical training ground for development of the students’ personalities
