Objectives of the program:

• To provide a platform to the students of the department to showcase their talent and skills
• To enable the students to cultivate and develop their leadership and organizational skills
• To provide a platform to the students to express themselves and bring out their talent and organizational skills in conducting the event

Brief report of the workshop

IGNITE, annual fest of BFM department was spread across six days this year under the theme of “CARNIVAL OF LOVE”. The central theme was to spread love and empathy amongst the needy and ignored section of the society. Students visited Old age home, Orphanage, Municipal school, home for differently abled children, paediatric ward of hospital etc. during the course of 6 days of fest. The fest was an initiative to prompt students into paying attention to the much neglected aspects of the society and to learn to share and care without expecting anything in return.

Outcome of the program

• The participants of the program gained loads of experience as to conducting programs on such a scale
• The students learnt first-hand the nitty-gritties of putting together events on such a scale and how much effort goes into the same
• The event proved to be a practical training ground for development of the students’ personalities
