Objectives:

  • To focus on achieving outcomes of branching out the spirit of innovation & creativity.

An Online One Day International Conference was organized in collaboration with Dhurakij Pundit University (DPU) dated Saturday December 18, 2021 on the topic Adapt, Innovate or Perish – Futuristic Trends in Global Business; assisted with the Technical Support Partner Indian Institute of Digital Education (IIDE.)

 The programme started with welcome address of Principal Dr. Neelam Arora s followed by introduction of the chief guest by Dr. Sangeeta Makkad. The Chief Guest Dr. Pattanant Petchedchoo highlighted the privileges of COVID times; helping the human race rise and not bow down to challenges. She also exclaimed the importance of networking & building a value system overseas can be achieved through positivity & resilience in the tough times of this global pandemic.

The Key note Speaker Dr. Phoommhiphat Pongpruttikul made a presentation on the core research topic and showed the various ways that organizations need to move forward in the coming times if they need to keep up with the changing environment and work in a disruptive world while being able to maintain their core areas of thrust and profitability.

The speaker of the technical session Mr. Peshwa Acharya (President and Member of Board of Brighton Group) elaborated his views highlighting the game changers which would turn the business organizations around in the coming times to come.

Papers were presented in two simultaneous tracks chaired by Dr. Rakhi Sharma {Dean – Jai Hind College HSNC Univ and   Dr. Navin Punjabi (Associate Professor – H.R College of Commerce & Economics) respectively.

Guest of valedictory session was Mr. Mithil Shah who spoke at length about the way the world has always dealt with such pandemics. He described his own journey from India to the UK and his current position highlighting that it was adaptation and innovation all the way which made him take this change in life and reach the position where he was in.

The session was ended with formal Vote of Thanks which was given by Dr. Vaidehi Kamath

Outcome

More than 20 papers were presented by the faculties and research scholars across the country focusing on how the innovation and adaptability in different fields and sectors of the economy has all the challenges easy to handle and is contributing to growth and prosperity amidst adversity.
